Context

Nepal Youth Policy Conference 2019 is a collaborative initiative of prominent personalities and institutions from global network that aims to link the young leaders around the world. The initiation will create a common forum to foster the global cooperation in collaborative approaches for youth issues in the region.

YDC – Youth Development Center & SEE – Sanitation Environment & Energy, in collaboration with Social Development Ministry, Province 1, Nepal have a pleasure of informing you about the upcoming event “International Youth Policy Conference 2019” to be held between 29th – 31th August 2019, in Itahari, Province 1, Nepal. This is the initiative in series after the success of “Nepal Bangladesh Youth Conclave (NBYC)” in March & “Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal (BBIN) Youth Camp” in June in same city, Itahari.

The title of the forum is “Bringing Youths Together”. The overall theme of this edition is to build the network between youth between different countries and also to support the “Visit Nepal 2020” strengthen the bonds within the community the youths around the world, and approach to improve the positive social impact of its value – program & the further details will be communicated to you soon.

This conference will craft foundations to promote global connectivity and strengthen ties among the citizens of these countries. The conference will also provide connecting platform for youth leaders from diverse fields. The call for such conference is felt more in the present days than any other time around the world.

In retrospect, the relationship between countries expected to be more and more cordial. However, there are still a lot of arenas which can be harnessed to make the best use of people to people partnership. For this, one part in mobility. For instance, in an average about 600 thousand tourists visit Nepal every year. Apparently, the number of Nepali visiting foreign countries is not high as well. Regardless of these countries sharing the physical proximity, the figure cannot be considered satisfactory.

 In this context, the conference aspires to explore more avenues for people from these countries and connect with each other by bringing together leaders representing the assorted sectors who will work to promote the multi-sectoral relationship when they join their workplace subsequent to their partaking in this forum.

Objective of Conference

The major goal of the conference is to foster global dialogue on youth policy, cultural exchange and sharing of innovations. To support the main goal, the forum emphasizes on a set of objectives to accomplish.

  • Review and assess the various aspects of global initiative on youth mainstreaming
  • Review and assess the collaboration between various countries and its global impact on youth
  • Discuss and explore techniques to be perfect youth entrepreneur.
  • Discourse and develop the ideas about National Youth Policy of each country.

Identify the common problems of respective countries and establish a network that will continue to work on finding integrative solutions to those issues yet after the conclusion of Conference.

Registration:

In order to participate in conference, you need to register. Registration fee is as follow:

For International Delegates: $100

For Nepali Delegates: NPR. 10,000

What we get after paying registration fee?

Organizer will provide you with Accommodation and food during event, conference material, certificate and Token of love.

What will be easy mode of transportation for International delegates?

Youth can take flight to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu and take flight for 45 Minutes or bus for 9 hours to Itahari)

Since, Itahari is about 80 km from West Bengal border of India. Delegates from Bangladesh, Bhutan will have easy if they come by road. For road travel, you first need to take Nepal Visa and then you have to apply for Indian Double Entry Transit visa.

Delegates from other countries also can take flight to Bagdogra (100 KM from Itahari) airport connecting flight to Delhi or any of international airport of southern India.
