On 2nd Asar 2080, the Youth Development Center conducted a significant orientation program as part of the Smart Chhori Campaign in Itahari Ward No. 14, Narbhasa. The aim of the program was to sensitize and engage local guardians and relevant authorities on the critical issue of child marriage and its minimization.

Under the expert coordination of Lakshmi Newar, the program was thoughtfully designed to address the challenges and consequences of child marriage in the community. Neha Agrahari played a crucial role as the facilitator, guiding interactive sessions and discussions.

The orientation program provided a platform for open dialogues, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of child marriage on young girls’ lives and the overall development of the community. The session also emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in curbing this harmful practice and promoting a safer and more nurturing environment for children.
