On 30th Chaitra 2079, the Youth Development Center conducted an orientation program under the Smart Chhori Campaign, focusing on “Minimizing Child Marriage.” The event aimed to sensitize local guardians and stakeholders about the importance of addressing child marriage in the community.

The program was held at Harijan Basti, Itahari-08, and saw active participation from community members, guardians, and relevant stakeholders. The orientation session shed light on the negative consequences of child marriage and emphasized the significance of safeguarding the rights and well-being of young girls.

Through informative discussions and interactive sessions, the participants gained insights into effective strategies for preventing child marriage and promoting a conducive environment for girls’ education and empowerment. The program reinforced the commitment of the Youth Development Center’s Smart Chhori Campaign in working towards creating a safer and more inclusive community for young girls.
